Surf lessons

Who teaches, who for, and what it costs

You don't need any gear of your own: a lesson comes with a board and a wetsuit. Bring swimwear and a towel. Children need a swimming certificate (Dutch A and B).

Wetsuit and board

You need a wetsuit here all year round, August included. Start on a soft-top of seven foot or longer. It's big and stable, and it hurts a lot less when it hits you.

The club

The Watersportvereniging Zandvoort on the south beach has sections for wave surfing, junior surfing and kiting, all year round.
